Short: This image was done in Imagine (mjf) Architecture: generic , for eventual output to stereo slide pairs. The background image is from a photograph I took in the USVirgin Islands. This work was an excercise in simplicity for me (I always tend towards the complex in my computer works), and also an exploration of an organic/ mechanical form duality. It was my intention to make the tusk shape very alive looking, but also machine made looking. The composition is a little off because this image is the left in a pair for stereo... I would appreciate any suggestions/observations/critique. I am pursuing my BFA at UofWisconsin Madison, and find that most of the art professors and my fellow art students haven't much to say about computer art. It's natural, of course, but I would like to get more feedback. I am attempting to explore new ideas in 3D imaging, and trying to go beyond shiny balls on the checkerboard look. These pix are my first posting on the net of my work. ENJOY! But please remember, they are mine... ------------------------------------------------------ Matthew John Feifarek U.of Wisconsin Madison, Art feifarek@students.wisc.edu feifarek@macc.wisc.edu
