The TaskTool - The Ultimate Task Switcher for Windows 3.1 Users

The TaskTool is intended for users of Microsoft Windows 3.1 who are not ready to
follow Microsoft’s latest upgrade path. It brings the look and feel of the Windows
95 taskbar to Windows 3.1 users without the need to upgrade to the latest hardware. 
The TaskTool is an economical alternative to Microsoft Windows 95.  Like Windows 95,
it allows users to start their favorite programs with a single mouse-click as well
as making it easier to navigate between multiple running programs. The TaskTool is
designed t o be effective on all machines that run Windows 3.1 (all the way down to
the oldest 286’s).

Future Enhancements

OBJIX is currently working on the next version of the TaskTool.  Enhancements will
include a hierarchical TaskTool menu which will allow users to nest their
quick-launch programs in groups arbitrarily deep.  Also, the right mouse button will
invoke the st andard window menu (close, maximize, minimize) when clicked on a task
on the TaskTool bar.
