FreeVue Videoconferencing Version 1.04 for Win3.x

Software Description

The FreeVue Client software allows you to receive and transmit live video and audio
over the Internet. With the software, you can view live audio and video broadcasts
over the internet, make a video call to other FreeVue users, or even become a
broadcaster yourself. 

Available Platforms

The FreeVue client software currently operates on the Windows 3.x and Windows 95
operating systems. We will soon have versions available for the Macintosh and Unix
environments. 

Windows version - System Requirements

     486 or faster processor 
     4MB or greater memory 
     3MB of free disk space 
     14.4K or faster access to the Internet 
     Sound Card (If you have a duplex card, you can make full duplex calls!) 
     Microphone (If you wish to transmit sound) 
     Video Capture card or Quickcam Camera (If you wish to transmit video) 

(After downloading, refer to the installation information below) Note: If you have
been getting an 'Objectwindows exception..." error, download CTRL3DV2.DLL into your
FreeVue directory.  Note: OS/2 and some Windows users will need to download
additional dlls. See the installation information.  If you have a problem installing
FreeVue, e-mail us at feeback@freevue.com, and we will respond promptly. 


Upgrades to the FreeVue Software

The FreeVue software is constantly being improved and updated in response to user
feedback, e-mail, and bug reports. While the software is still young, we are making
numerous changes to improve the quality of video and audio reception, and to support
the many different software configurations on which FreeVue is run. If you have
problems using FreeVue, please let us know, by sending e-mail to
feedback@freevue.com. In addition, check this page to see what features are coming
in the next upgrade. 

New features in version 1.04 

     Private login keeps you from receiving unwanted calls! 
     'Bye' button allows you to disconnect a single caller. 
     You can set a limit on the number of calls you can simultaneously take. 
     Snappy new graphic replaces 'Video Off' screen. 
     Mysterious buttons... write us and guess what they are going to do! 

If you have a camera, try calling yourself to see what others will see when they
call you! You might also want to review the manual for some helpful hints and
information about making the most of FreeVue.
