NetMonitor is the easiest way to find out what is really happening while you are on the Internet, allowing you to check under the hood of your connection and see exactly what is going on.  Get specific Internet statistics and information like: 

-The actual URL (website) you are at, and it's associated IP (Internet Protocol) address 
-The # of Internet Hops (servers) it took you to get to the site 
-The IP address that your ISP has assigned you 
-Your actual connect speed and data transfer rate (note -- connect speed is not displayed for users with LAN connections or those not using TCP/IP -- such as AOL)
-A graphical display (like an EKG) of data coming and going cross your Internet connection.
-Your on-line time

In addition, here's what is included in this latest version of NetMonitor 2.51:

-  BETTER NT SUPPORT
-  SIZEABLE WINDOWS (notice the little arrows for each section of NetMonitor -- Internet Info, Connection and Website Statistics).  By clicking on the arrows, you can minimize each section separately to give yourself a little more desktop space.
-  RIGHT CLICK MENU - right click anywhere on NetMonitor and the main menu appears
-  TRUESPEED HTML REPORT - See a historical graph of your TrueSpeed tests.  You can also define an alternative file and site for which to perform the TrueSpeed test.  Just "right click" on Net Monitor and select Options and the True Speed tab.
-  PROXY SERVER SUPPORT has been added (right click on NetMonitor to select your Option settings).
-  TOOLTIP DISPLAY - Put your cursor over the icon in the System Tray to see A.) Bytes sent and received  OR  B.) Your modem connection speed and time on-line (dial-up only)  OR  C.) Your IP address.
-  ACTIVITY LIGHTS have been added to the NetMonitor System Tray icon to report back TCP/IP Internet activity.
-  NetMonitor can SYNCHRONIZE YOUR PC's SYSTEM CLOCK to the Internet Atomic clock so that the date and time stamps on your data files are always correct!  You can select which Time Server you want to use.  Just "right click" on Net Monitor and select Options and the Time Sync tab.
-  Click on the "URL" button to have NetMonitor do a lookup on the registered owner of the website to which you are connected.  You can even select which "WHOIS" server you want to use.  Just "right click" on Net Monitor and select the Who is tab.
-  Click on the "# of Hops" to do an actual TRACER ROUTE showing which routers and servers you went through to get there.
-  SKIN SUPPORT (customize the look and feel of the NetMonitor interface)!
-  OPTIMIZATION REMINDERS
