This is the README.TXT  file for Mocha W32 Telnet

Mocha W32 Telnet is an Windows 95/NT application. It makes it 
possible to connect to a host via TCP/IP with the Telnet protocol
and emulate a VT220 terminal.

*** Order ***
    
    Visit www.mochasoft.dk for latest information. You can order with
    Credit card or check/postal money order.

*** Installation ***

    - unpack files with a zip utility, into a temporary catalog.
    - load program setup.exe and follow instructions.

    If problems with the installation, copy all files to a new
    catalog and rename setup.exe to mtelnet.exe. Start Mocha W32
    Telnet with loading mtelnet.exe.

*** Uninstallation ***

    Use Windows tool "Add/Remove Programs" in the Control Panel. Select
    Mocha W32 Telnet and click Add/Remove.

*** Documentation ***

    The documentation has been included in the Window Help
    system. Select Help in the menu.

  a) LF is missing in paste buffer
  b) Proxy using wrong host name
  c) Cancel of installation is out of order
  d) Cannot accept large host names in the dialog box

  f) Wrong catalog for map files, if mtelnet.exe was loaded as a link.
  g) /H parameter works only if (x) in dialog box

  a) Auto connect could hang
  b) If closed as an icon, the program could not be started again
  c) More correct close of socket connection at program termination

  a) added support for konfiguration of backspace.

 - FF in print command did not flush current line, and the last
   line on a printed page would be lost.

 - the IAC WILL ECHO telnet option was not handled correct.

 - Corrected problems with host control of local echo
 - Added new menu option in settings. As default the host will
   not control the local echo state.

 - New function in menu setting: Blinking CUrsor
 - Possible to pre-install license key into the package. Include
   a file named LICTEL with the package with following contents:

     name=<company name>
     key=<license key>

     <> should not be included. 

Version 1.5.4 980706
 - Cursor keys in application mode would always use the 8 bit syntax
   \217 A (where A is A,B,C,D, depending on the arrow) even if running
   in 7 bit mode. Now ESC O A (where A is A,B,C,D, depending on the arrow)
   is used.
