Summary 

Omni-NFS provides full NFS (Network File System) facilities for any Windows for 
Workgroups PC or any PCs running a network supporting the Windows Sockets (winsock) 
interface. Omni-NFS features include NFS Client, NFS Server, NFS Printer Client, 
NFS Printer Server, point and click FTP, Remote Backup, VT420/320/220 terminal 
emulation. 


Description 

Omni-NFS delivers full NFS client and server functionality for a fraction of the 
price of traditional solutions, Omni-NFS makes it simple for Windows users to make 
use of UNIX file storage, printers and backup devices. Omni-NFS works with the 
Microsoft TCP/IP stack available with Windows for Workgroups or with any network 
supporting the Windows Sockets interface (eg: Trumpet Winsock). Omni-NFS provides 
an easy-to-use interface for mounting printers and drives as well as common 
utilities such as FTP and RSH. Omni-NFS offers a comprehensive range of NFS 
features including: 

 	NFS (Network File System) client
Access UNIX files storage as network drives from Windows using Network File System 
(NFS) 

 	NFS printer client
Print from Windows 95 applications to remove UNIX printers 

 	NFS server
Enable other NFS systems to access Windows storage (including CD-ROM) 

 	NFS printer server
Enable other NFS systems to send print to Windows printers 

 	Remote back-up/restore
Backup and restore using UNIX tape and floppy drives from Windows 

 	Pick and point FTP
Transfer files using point and click Windows interface to FTP 

 	Remote shell/Remote execution
Execute and automate UNIX shell commands on remote UNIX host. 

 	VT420/320/220/100 terminal emulation
Full featured terminal emulation with 7 or 8 bit support and full point and click 
keyboard mapping.
