Support Level Supplement (SLS) PTF7064B, the SCO UnixWare 7 mod driver 
Supplement, resolves the following issues:

        1. During the boot sequence, the system will panic when running 
           verify on a statically linked DDI-8 driver. 

        2. A potential deadlock condition in the kernel. 

The release notes displayed prior to installation can be found in:

        /var/sadm/pkg/ptf7064/install/ptf7064.txt


Software Notes and Recommendations
----------------------------------

SLS PTF7064B should only be installed on: 

        UnixWare 7.0.1


Installation Instructions
-------------------------

1. Download the ptf7064b.Z file to the /tmp directory on your machine.

2. As root, uncompress the file and add the SLS package to your system
   using these commands:

        $ su
        Password: <type your root password>
        # uncompress /tmp/ptf7064b.Z
        # pkgadd -d /tmp/ptf7064b
        # rm /tmp/ptf7064b

3. Reboot the system after installing this SLS package.



Removal Instructions
--------------------

1. As root, remove the SLS package using these commands:

        $ su
        Password: <type your root password>
        # pkgrm ptf7064

2. Reboot the system after removing this SLS package.
